Katie and AJ’s wedding will be one that I remember for a while! Firstly, of course the Orange and green colour scheme was an absolute win! 🧡 Katie even had orange shoes and accessories so we were proper matchy matchy.

I started the day laying on the floor taking the detail shots (and got laughed at, obviously 🤣), and then helped the boys with their ties, because not one of them knew how to tie one! It might have been a spring wedding, but Essex served up a proper summer’s day ☀️ I had to find the factor 50 suncream, and that iced coke was well needed at the drinks reception on the Hatfield Place courtyard overlooking the Essex countryside.

While Katie met with the registrars, the guests took a relaxing stroll down to the ceremony in the stunning oak-beamed Ceremony Hall, with lovely views of the picturesque walled garden.

Katie couldn’t stop laughing through the ceremony, and she took the entire front row with her — it was such a cute moment! Then came the first kiss, signing the register, and a walk back down the aisle to a round of applause.

Straight after, it was celebrations with a canapé and champagne reception in the walled garden patio, with the sun still shining and everyone chatting, laughing and catching up with a drink in hand 🥂 I also grabbed a few relaxed family photos while everyone was together. The food from S&K Hospitality was out of this world. Yes, that frigging beautiful scallop was a canapé! 😍 The venue looked so good, that I sent the drone up for some aerial shots! 🚁

Then I took the couple off around the grounds, past a pond, the red-brick walls and the gorgeous Georgian house, and got them back in time for dinner, where the father of the bride gave a PowerPoint presentation speech full of old baby photos — Super funny 🤣

Then came a gorgeous sunset over the oak-beamed Ceremony Hall 🧡 Katie and AJ had some fun with a dip kiss and a little wander, before nearly causing an injury with the cake cut 🤣 Then the first dance kicked off what felt like a never-ending party!

If you want someone to capture moments of your wedding, then Martin is your guy. He’s the wedding photographer that commits for that perfect shot (will lay in mud for it!) And becomes part of wedding day. Martin showcases the love story, the beginning, the middle and the end. Our guests loved him and he just snapped away! Martin is an easy going guy who makes you laugh and wants you to have fun. No one wants a stiff photographer and to feel awkward, so Martin is your guy!
