WHAT EVENTS DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH?
While weddings are still the main focus of my work, I love capturing all of life’s big moments. Whether it’s a surprise birthday party, a family gathering, or a special occasion years in the making, my approach remains exactly the same: relaxed, candid, and focused on the people who matter most.
From milestone birthdays and anniversaries to christenings, engagement parties, and community celebrations, if it’s worth celebrating, it’s worth remembering. After all, some of the best memories happen when nobody’s looking at the camera.
WE HATE HAVING OUR PHOTOS TAKEN! WHAT DO WE DO?
Most people do — myself included!
The good news is that event photography isn’t really about standing around smiling at the camera. My approach is relaxed, candid and unobtrusive, allowing you and your guests to enjoy yourselves while I capture the moments naturally as they happen.
Most people forget I’m even there after the first half hour.
DO YOU TAKE GROUP PHOTOS?
Of course! While I focus primarily on candid moments, I’m always happy to organise a few family groups or photos with friends if you’d like them. We’ll keep it quick and painless so everyone can get back to enjoying the party.
HOW LONG DO YOU STAY?
That depends entirely on the event. Unlike weddings, events can range from a one-hour christening to a multi-day big birthday celebration — some last all day, and some are so much fun, I wish they didn’t stop!
During the booking process, I’ll make sure I understand exactly what you’d like captured and how much coverage you’ll need. Whether you need me for an hour or several days, I’ll work with you to create something that fits your plans.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Absolutely. I’m based in Essex and generally capture events across Essex, Suffolk, Kent, London, and the surrounding areas. But I’m also a bit of a car enthusiast, so I never mind a long drive further afield. Occasionally, I even have to douse myself in suncream for a sunny trip abroad.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
I know you’ll be excited to see the photos, so I’ll usually share a few sneak peeks shortly after the event to keep you going while I work through the full gallery.
I’ll give you an estimated delivery time when you book. Typically, this takes a couple of weeks, depending on the size of the event and how many photos I’ve captured. Don’t worry though, I’ll keep you updated throughout the process, so you’re never left wondering where your photos have disappeared to.
CAN WE SHARE THE PHOTOS WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS?
Absolutely. You’ll receive your images in a beautiful online gallery that’s easy to share with everyone who was there.
WHAT IF WE DON’T KNOW WHAT WE NEED?
That’s completely normal. Most people don’t organise professional photography very often.
