Alone time on your wedding day

If you don’t like having your photo taken, couple shots at your wedding are what you dread most! But I promise you, it’s less of an awkward photoshoot, and more just the two of you having a few moments alone together somewhere quiet, and celebrate the fact now officially married!

Okay, I’m there too a professional third wheel — but my candid style means there’s absolutely no awkward poses, no chin down; shoulders back; smiling-at-the-camera nonsense — and nothing more than just you, being yourselves, having fun in your own, unique way. I’ll just capture the moments as they happen, and only jump in and guide you if you don’t look like you love each other.

Because, love on a wedding day is kinda important! 🧡

Otherwise, I’ll just give you a few nudges to get you joking around, laughing, or having a sneaky kiss, a cheeky bum squeeze for me to snap! Allana and David had even more fun during their couple photos! 👀

HAVE FUN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY

Typically I take couple shots after the ceremony, around the back of the venue, down a country lane, or wherever we can sneak off to for twenty-five-or-so minutes. If it’s pissing it down 🌧️, DO. NOT. PANIC. Some of my favourite photos were taken in the rain, running for cover, or looking cute together hiding under an umbrella! Equally, if that’s not your thing, all venues have somewhere away from the rain we can use too!

Honestly, you don’t need to think you ‘look good’ in photos or know what to do with your hands — I promise, by the end you’ll be having so much fun, you’ll have forgotten the camera’s even there.

I’ve been photographing Couple Photoss professionally for over a decade. I’m very ADHD, full of bad jokes, and have never really understood why everyone wants to be ‘normal’ — whatever the hell that is!

I tell love stories, because I love doing it.

I love photographing people the most, especially when they’re being their quirkiest selves, and having a great time with the people they love. 🧡

I'm the literal ginger giant behind Carrot Top Photos.

When I’m not working, I’m still rarely far from a camera — usually trying to find the best spot to catch the sunset, or the stars at night.

Otherwise, I’ll be driving liberally (and safely) through the country lanes of Essex; singing musical theatre anthems at full blast; or removing brand ambassador Lando, my ginger kitten from the washing basket! 🐈

oh - and I LOVE SUNSET PHOTOS!

If the sky’s playing ball, we’re nipping out for five minutes when it starts going ORANGE. 🧡

Golden hour is no joke, and I will absolutely interrupt your dinner for it (only if we have agreed in advance).
