Your Fun & Relaxed Wedding Photography Guide
This is the chilled, no-stress and fun way I photograph weddings. I focus on capturing real emotions, big laughs, and genuine moments as your day naturally unfolds.

NO WEDDING IS THE SAME!
This is just a rough guide to how the day might flow. Every wedding is different — and that’s exactly how it should be. So if your big day doesn’t look like this, that’s absolutely fine, completely normal, and still going to be epic!
I’ll always ask plenty of questions about the details in the consultations leading up to your wedding, so I know what to expect. And when the day comes, I’ll capture it in a relaxed, natural way, no matter how far off-plan things go.

NERVOUS GIGGLES
I’ll arrive about 2-2.5 hours before your ceremony, say hi, and start by getting some shots of the venue and details. I’d suggest putting together a small box of things like invites, jewellery, and any materials you’d like photographed. I’ll keep popping back to capture you guys getting ready, and also photograph the rings and your dress (or whatever you’re wearing).
Obviously I can't be in two places at once (I'm amazing, but not a wizard), so if you would like both of your preps covered make sure your package includes two photographers.

say 'i do'
During the ceremony, I’ll keep things as discreet as possible for a ginger giant! I promise I’m surprisingly stealthy and won’t interrupt or reposition you — this part of the day belongs to you. I want you to remember every moment, capturing the reactions, the little glances, the nerves, the laughter, THE KISS!!!! and everything in between.

FAMILY & FRIENDS
This is the perfect point to gather everyone together for a photo before they disappear to the bar. Then I’ll capture a few group shots of your MVPs and the fam, (because Mum will want one for the dining room wall).
Before the wedding day, I’ll ask you to send over a list of the groups you’d like photographed and nominate a ‘responsible’ person who can rugby tackle anyone trying to escape. On average, each group takes about five minutes, so I recommend a maximum of nine groups and ordering them with as few people stepping in and out as possible to keep things a little less chaotic.

ALONE TIME
While everyone else is grabbing a drink, I’ll whisk you off for around 25–30 minutes (add another 15 if you’ve got a videographer). We’ll head off for a relaxed wander around the venue — it’s your chance to step away from the crowd, catch your breath, and actually take in the fact that you’re married.
I’ll capture the natural, in-between moments as they happen. I’ll guide you if needed, but I won’t tell you to 'smile' or force anything. I’ll only step in if you don’t look like you love each other… and even then, you can just pretend 😜.

TWO LEFT FEET?
Dance pro or side to side shuffler (and hope for the best), your first dance is about the two of you, not a performance for the room.
I’ll be at a distance and position myself so I’m not blocking guests or making it feel staged, and I won’t shout instructions mid-spin! If you mess it up, laugh. If you nail it, even better. Either way, I’ll capture it as it happens.

Orange Addicts 🧡 Sunsets
Look, I’m a sucker for a sunset. I’ll keep an eye throughout the evening and, if that sky turns ridiculously orange, I’m stealing you guys for a few minutes. Trust me — it’ll be worth it.

The End?
Some couples choose to do an ‘exit shot’ with glow sticks or sparklers. The sweet spot for this is usually around two hours after the party starts — late enough that everyone’s relaxed, but early enough that we still have a proper crowd to make it look epic.

PARRTAYYYYY!
It might be the end of the day, but the fun and laughter definitely isn’t over. All my packages include full-day coverage, so I’ll be there capturing you all throwing shapes, going the wrong way during the Candy dance, and your auntie’s slightly chaotic antics well into the night. It's likely I'll have a little dance myself!
