Wedding dress
For most brides who choose to wear a wedding dress, it’s the dress that is the most deliberated about. After years of dreaming about your wedding dress, It’s important that I get some really nice photos of it. I’ll usually arrive whilst you are in the middle of makeup and hair, giving us time to gather the shots we need of your dress.
If you’re doing your bridal prep at a wedding venue, they will usually have a high ceiling hook to hang your dress from, otherwise don’t worry, I’m the king of improvisation at Neil and Parna‘s wedding I even used a chandelier to hang Parna’s dress from!
Once you’re ready to put your dress on, I like to capture the final “zip” or lacing up of the corset. Brides often have their bridesmaids or mum help them with this step, and it’s a gorgeous moment that shows you natural energy with each other.
say yes to the dress!

Wedding Bouquets
Your wedding bouquet is unique in the fact that your wedding flower choice is often dependent on the season of your wedding, despite this, florists will often still be able to source beautiful flowers in your colour scheme.
I find that the best time to get the wedding prep photos of the bouquets is right after delivery on the morning of your wedding. They are fresh, crisp and, often have little tiny dew drops which just add to the complex details, and well to be honest they get bashed throughout the day, and we want you to remember them at their best!
Whilst you will get photos of your bouquets on their own I will usually incorporate them into other wedding prep details.
Bridal Makeup and Hair
Whether you and your bridal party are doing your own hair and makeup, or if you have an artist coming to assist, this time offers a nice opportunity to capture your and your mate’s pre-wedding emotions. I often take images of smiles, laughter, and slight nervous tears which all tell a beautiful story of your wedding day. I generally don’t take any makeup photos until you’re at least halfway through, to make sure the makeup doesn’t look streaky from the contour lines, etc.
If you’re worried about not looking good in these photos, please don’t stress, firstly we don’t have to take these photos, and it will all be discussed in your pre-wedding consultation. whats more, I’m not going to include an image in the delivered photos that I don’t think you look beautiful in.

Bridal Accessories
There’s a whole load of little details that go into making you and the bridal party look amazing on your wedding day. Of course, the dress is usually the main event, but I love to capture anything special that you or your bridesmaids might be wearing on the day.
Some items that often pop up are veils, shoes, perfume, and jewelry. Perhaps you’re giving your bridesmaids jewelry or a watch as a gift for being a big part of your day. All of these offer more opportunities for storytelling.
I love something quirky like Hannah’s socks! so let me know at the wedding consultation!
